We offer both residential and day retreats. There are plenty of beautiful spaces in the house and in our beautiful three acre garden you can make your own for the day. We have a wonderful winter garden and an extensive kitchen garden for you to explore. All you have to do is write.

Residential retreats
Our Shepherd’s Hut and Bothy are available for residential retreats. You can stay for as long as you like, and we have a minimum stay of two nights. Both spaces are perfect for finding peace and inspiration.
We want you to think of nothing but your writing, so we take the cooking strain. Included in the price are sumptuous breakfasts; cereals, croissants, home-made bread and our own hens’ eggs. Also included are home-cooked suppers, delivered to your door. All our food is vegetarian, and made, wherever possible, from our own garden produce.
Both the Shepherd’s Hut and Bothy are fully self-contained with hobs and fridges, so you can bring your own lunches and snacks.
Cost per night: £110 - including breakfast and dinner.
Discounts may be offered for those booking a week or longer.
